Eczema on Hands

Eczema on hands is something that I suffer from myself. In fact I have personally and this problem with my hand for about 3 years or so now. I am a nurse and have to wash my hands severa times per day and this does not seem to help matters. My hand eczema is worse on my dominant hand, so I always wonder why? Do I come in contanct with something more by using my right hand as opposed to my left one? I still have not quite figured that one out. I have seen people that have similar types on their hand but have it much worse than I do. I have a sibling that also suffers from hand eczema. She also has it worse than me. I have seen many pictures on the internet that are very nasty indeed.
However, even though I don’t have it as bad as others does not mean that it does not hinder me some. Sometimes when I have a flare up the area is very tender and bleads and may take a few days before I can get it under control once again with my creams that I use on it.
I have really not paid that much attention as to when the condition gets worse. Meaning outside irritants that may cause me to have a bad break out. However I have noticed a very bad thing associated with my hands over the past couple of years.
And this I can say has happened before I discovered that I had eczema, meaning before any other signs like the present ones appeared. As most people love shopping from time to time I am no different.
I noticed on several occasions of shopping at many places that my hands become very red and itchy and feel very warm and may even swell a bit. It is like operating a gas powered weed eater or chain saw or electric sander. That is what this feels like. The only thing is I was just shopping and picking up items in the stores and looking at them. So, I wonder if that has had something to do with it and this is also an over reaction too.
The only way I got any relief from this was to take a benedrly tabllet or use benedryl cream on my hands to stop the itching and what feels like sudden swelling. Eczema Home Remedies
